Freedom of Information Request – Ref: FOI 120-2026
Thank you for your recent Freedom of Information request. Please find our response below.
You asked:
You note that the trust publishes annual Workforce Disability Equality Standard action plans, and your disability action plan says the 2021–26 People Strategy agreed actions to improve disability recruitment.
- How do you evidence, at the vacancy level before shortlisting, where each role was promoted and what engagement it generated with disabled candidates and communities you are trying to reach?
Our response:
We use Trac, an online recruitment management system for our roles. Where we are advertising jobs externally, Trac posts them to sites including NHS Jobs, our website, Job Centre ,healthjobsuk.com, Indeed and LinkedIn. We also have Trust Facebook accounts where roles are posted. On occasion, we will also use additional targeted advertising for specific posts.
Candidates are asked to state where they saw the advert at application and we monitor this with reporting identifying the source of the applications alongside EDI data.
