Freedom of Information Request – Ref: FOI 081-2025
Thank you for your recent Freedom of Information request. Please find our response below.
You asked:
I would be grateful if you could please answer the following question.
In the last 12 months, how many unique patients have been treated for Insomnia (ICD-10 code G47.0) with the following products:
1). Zopiclone
2). Zolpidem
3). Any other Melatonin product
If you cannot provide the information for each product, please provide the information that you do have available.
Our response:
There are less than 5 people with a recorded confirmed diagnosis of Insomnia (ICD 10 code G47.0) between 18 July 2024 and 17 July 2025.
As diagnosis has been requested, we have only included people where a diagnosis has been recorded as confirmed. There may be other people that have been referred or treated, or both, where the condition is apparent or suspected but has not been recorded as confirmed.
As there are less than 5 patients, the true number has not been revealed to avoid deductive disclosure.
We do not hold the information about patients who have been treated for Insomnia with the products mentioned on your request.
