Note for questions 1, 2 and 3 above – Freedom of Information Act 2000 – Exemption Applied – Section 31(1)(a) & (g) – Law Enforcement

Information relating to the manufacturer, model and year of installation has been partially withheld under Section 31(1)(a) & (g) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (Prevention of Crime).
Disclosure of detailed technical information about the Trust’s IT infrastructure would be likely to prejudice the prevention of crime, as it could enable malicious actors to identify vulnerabilities and target systems more effectively. Cyber-attacks against NHS organisations are a recognised and ongoing threat, and disclosure of system-specific information would increase the risk of exploitation.
