Our response:
GHC manage 2 endoscopy units, one in Stroud General Hospital, and one in Cirencester Community Hospital.
Both units have 2 Wassenberg washer / driers, 2 Avidity ROs, an Olympus Stack each and 13 scopes each

2. Who is the Manufacturer/Supplier of the Endoscopes/Endoscopy Systems that the Trust own?
Our response:
Olympus, Wassenberg, Avidity.

3. Are any of the Trust owned Endoscopes/Endoscopy Systems subject to lease/finance arrangements?
Our response:
No.

Our response:
All replaced in the last 18 months.

With all of our manufacturers, Olympus, Wassenberg, Avidity.

Our response:
No.

Our response:
Fully Comprehensive.

Our response:
Currently all equipment is under warranty , so unable to state value.

11. Where an external service provider(s) is used, please state the service contract period, i.e. start/end dates?
Our response:
Usually, 5 years from new. N.B. most of the endoscopy equipment in both units is less than 18 months old.

12. Where an external service provider(s) is used, does your contract include the provision of loan Endoscopes to temporarily replace defective Endoscopes?
Our response:
Yes.

Our response:
Medical Engineering are responsible for managing servicing etc of our Olympus scopes etc. c/o Joanne Arnold Joanne.Arnold2@nhs.net
GHC’s Decontamination Lead liaises with Wassenberg and Avidity for the washer driers and ROs c/o/ Corine Dyer Corinne.dyer@ghc.nhs.uk
