What was the single highest amount your trust paid to an agency for any registered nurse shift for band 5 or above in the current financial year [i.e. April 2025-26]
Our response:
Band 7 Occupational Health Nurse – £445.16 – 10.5 hours.
You asked:
a. Could you please provide the same information for the preceding year [i.e. April 2024-25]
b. Please outline or name the specialist area this cost was for, if relevant, for example paediatrics, frailty ward, emergency care, ICU etc.
c. Please outline which nursing band (i.e. band 5, band 6 etc.) this cost was for
d. Please include the length of the shift this was paid for

Note: The rates for the ENP band 7’s was the same over the above years. We had 2 x 12.5 hour MIIU shifts during those periods.
The use of Off Framework Agencies (OFA) in these areas has ceased, we haven’t used any OFA for a year now.
