Our response to questions 18 to 26:

Please note that this response relates only to the 0–18 age group and specifically to the CAMHS Autism and ADHD Assessment Service (CAAAS), where we have access to consistent and reportable data.

Due to an ongoing service transition in Gloucestershire, the ADHD pathway for children and young people is currently being merged. This includes the movement of patients from paediatric community services into CAMHS, and the use of multiple clinical systems across services has resulted in significant data limitations.

Additionally, within Core CAMHS, ADHD diagnoses may be made by an allocated consultant as part of broader care, but these cases are not consistently coded in a way that allows reliable reporting.

At present, we are unable to provide figures for completed ADHD assessments across the service or any waiting list data beyond the CAAAS system.

We are, however, able to provide the following information:

Number of children currently waiting for an ADHD assessment in CAAAS (as of 21st May 2025): 449

(These are CYP who were identified at CAAAS screening as requiring ADHD assessment, however there may be other young people for whom the ADHD assessment is offered when its identified as part of other assessments within the service which include referrals from other CAMHS Teams).

We do not hold a validated or extractable figure for the number of children waiting as of 31 March 2025, so we are unable to provide that data.

We are currently reviewing our data and clinical systems to improve the accuracy and availability of such information in future.

Under Section 17 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000, we confirm that the remaining information requested is not held in a reportable format.
