Freedom of Information Request – Ref: FOI 277-2122
Thank you for your recent Freedom of Information request. Please find our response below.
1. Whether the Trust is on a fixed rate tariff contract for energy. No, we trade flexibly via public sector framework and fully managed service provider that specialises in public sector energy procurement.
2. The Trust’s annual energy budget for 2021/22. Circa £1.6m
3. Whether the Trust anticipates any additional energy costs in the second half of 2021/22. Increases in gas prices across the nation are imminent.
4. If yes to the above, the value of any estimated additional energy costs for the second half of 2021/22. Not yet available but we could see gas prices rise as much as 90%, however we are protected against sharp increases by our suppliers price cap which means that we will still receive a good price volumes of gas.
