Hi, Could you please provide the following information Please do not publish my name or personal details if a response to this request is published anywhere 1. How many people have been diagnosed with Body Dysmorphic Disorder BDD. in the trust during the past 20 years or as far back as the records allow you to search. 2. In the past 20 years or as far back as it is possible to search records. how many people with Body Dysmorphic Disorder BDD. were treated in primary care services. 3. In the past 20 years or as far back as you may be able to search in the records. how many people diagnosed with Body Dysmorphic Disorder BDD. were treated in secondary care. 4. Can you provide me with a yearly breakdown of how many people within the trust have been diagnosed with BDD and treated per year over the past 20 years or as far back as the records allow you to search.. Thank you for your recent Freedom of Information request. Please find our response below:
1. How many people have been diagnosed with Body Dysmorphic Disorder BDD. in the trust during the past 20 years or as far back as the records allow you to search. Our records show that 11 people had a confirmed diagnosis since June 2010 the earliest recording. . Please note as diagnosed was requested we have not included those where the condition may have been suspected on referral or the patient may have been treated where the condition was thought to be apparent
2. In the past 20 years or as far back as it is possible to search records. how many people with Body Dysmorphic Disorder BDD. were treated in primary care services.
5 of these 11 were referred on to our IAPT or PMHS services
3. In the past 20 years or as far back as you may be able to search in the records. how many people diagnosed with Body Dysmorphic Disorder BDD. were treated in secondary care.
All 11 were treated by our secondary care teams
4. Can you provide me with a yearly breakdown of how many people within the trust have been diagnosed with BDD and treated per year over the past 20 years or as far back as the records allow you to search.. Broken down by:
a. The number of people diagnosed/treated with BDD per year and the area/region within the trust.
b. Gender
c. Ethnicity d. Age
e. Regiorea in the trust
Due to the very small numbers, we are unable to split out further due to the risk of reporting patient identifiable data Please also kindly note that this is the information we have available from patient records and it potentially incomplete, it may well be different to the actual number of people diagnosed and not recorded..
