I am writing further to your request for information dated 22/07/2021 to advise you that the information you requested is being withheld under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.
You requested: • How many patients did the clinic treat for the period of 22nd of June to 21st of July 2021?
• How many of these patients were not hospitalised with their acute Covid infection?
• How many of these patients have been engaged with the clinic for longer than 12 weeks?
• How many of these patients reported an inability to work or a significant reduction in working hours due to prolonging Covid symptoms?
• How many of these patients are younger than 40?
NHS England and NHS Improvement are currently working with regions and systems to develop and refine processes to collect activity and demographic data for the Post Covid syndrome Assessment clinics. From summer 2021 NHS Long Covid activity data on referral, number of assessments, waiting times and the onward patient journey will be published monthly. There will be a National Publication in September 2021. Should you have any queries in relation to our response in this letter, please do not hesitate to contact me.
