Freedom of Information request 154-2022

Response published: 7 March 2024

FOI Request

FOI team, I would also like to know the date when the environmental risk assessments of each of the wards, including a breakdown of the communal areas and private areas such as bedrooms and bathrooms, were completed. Additionally I would like to know how often these risk assessments are supposed to be reviewed and which professional is responsible for this. I would also like to know if environmental risk assessments are completed for clinical areas at Charlton Lane Hospital outside the wards, such as the therapy rooms and outpatient areas upstairs. A yearly ligature assessment takes place on each ward and includes all patient-facing areas. Completed in July 2021.
A PLACE inspection also takes place on a yearly basis.
The lead professional for the monitoring of these is the Hospital Modern Matron role but supported by Estates colleagues.
