QUESTIONS FOCUSED ON CHILD ADHD SERVICES
The children and young peoples’ ADHD pathway is a multiagency pathway in Gloucestershire. Referrals for children aged under 11 are managed by the community paediatrics service, which is outside of NHS Gloucestershire Health and Care Foundation Trust GHC.. Referrals for children and young people aged over 11 are managed by the GHC children and adolescent mental health service CAMHS.. The document that describes the current multiagency pathway can be found at Health Assessment for Neurodevelopment Disorders and Learning Difficulties | Glosfamilies Directory.
Unfortunately, we are not able to provide the data requested at the current time. This is because the ADHD pathway for over 11 year olds is currently provided by the CAMHS CORE team. Within our reporting system it is not possible to identify those waiting for an ADHD assessment. GHC CAMHS is currently working with commissioners to develop a countywide strategy for the new 0 to 18 year olds neurodevelopmental pathway. In 2024 we plan to have one team providing both ADHD and autism spectrum disorder ASD. assessments to all 0 to 18 year olds, as well as post diagnostic support. Both the ADHS and ASD pathways are currently under development to ensure that these are in line with NICE guidelines. GENERAL QUESTIONS ABOUT YOUR ORGANISATION AND ITS ADHD SERVICES
