Freedom of Information Request – Ref: FOI 013-2122
Thank you for your recent Freedom of Information request. Please find our response below.
Are any of your hospitals using UV disinfection technology to help prevent HCAI?
1. If yes, which departments and areas within the hospital are using UV technology?
2. If yes, has it had a positive effect on reducing HCAI? I can confirm that there are no facilities across Gloucestershire Health & Care NHS Foundation Trust that employ UV light units in any part of the decontamination process. We neither own nor hire these UV units at present.
