1. How much did your Trust spend in total on education and training in the following financial years?
April to March 2021-2022 overall spend.
April to March 2022- 2023 overall spend.
It is impossible to give an accurate picture of total spend as there are multiple sources of funding both income and expenditure. and there is no one central record of this. The Trust training budget was £240,000 each year in 2021 – 2022 and 2022-2023. We also had an additional budget of £50,000 for OD, Leadership and EDI training. 2. Please advise how much of this total spend was with external providers?

As total spend is impossible to calculate, this question is also difficult to answer. However most of our training budget is spent with external training providers but the spend also includes elements like software licences and room hire.. 3. Please can you break down the overall spend into the following categories?
Apprenticeship training April to March 2021-2022 overall spend.
April to March 2022- 2023 overall spend.
Our Apprenticeship Spend is all based on our Apprenticeship Levy which is £553,000. We used all our levy in both 2021 – 2022 and 2022-2023 although this did include us gifting some of the levy to other health and social care organisations.
Mandatory, statutory and compliance training April to March 2021-2022 overall spend.
April to March 2022- 2023 overall spend.
Difficult to cost accurately but we do not have high levels of spend on our statutory/mandatory training as we mostly use E-learning for Healthcare training which we can access for free. Management and Leadership training

Our internal budget is £50,000 but individual teams will also have paid out for management and leadership training so it is impossible to give an accurate picture. Healthcare support worker training

Training from HEIs/Universities for healthcare professionals
