Regarding your FOI request, our teams have explained to us that gathering the information about costs will be very time consuming, as it will be a process that will require involving other teams, therefore we may need to charge you for that, as it is likely that it will exceed the time limit that we have to respond to your request.
Could we supply a broader piece of information giving a rough idea of what the costs would be? E.g. costings on the basic band, plus bank additional percentage and enhancements etc ?

I am writing to you under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 to request the number of sick days taken by hospital staff.
A. Please could you provide the most recent 2 full years of data, broken down by department with reasons for sickness please exclude departments where numbers are so low they may identify staff.. B. If timings allow, please could you also provide the cost of replacing staff off sick on these days. I have attached an example to show how we would prefer the data displayed to help you not identify anyone within your trust whilst also providing a format to help make this process easier. If it is not possible to provide the information requested due to the information exceeding the cost of compliance limits identified in Section 12, please provide advice and assistance, under the Section 16 obligations of the Act, as to how I can refine my request.
