For patients receiving electro-convulsive therapy in the past 12 months, how many patients were under treatment for: • Major depressive disorder • Other mental health conditions Q3. Thank you for your recent Freedom of Information request. Please find our response below.
1. How many patients have received the following treatments for any condition. in the past 12 months:
• Electro-convulsive therapy ECT.
• Esketamine nasal spray
• Ketamine infusion
• r-TMS therapy 16
2. For patients receiving electro-convulsive therapy in the past 12 months, how many patients were under treatment for:
• Major depressive disorder
• Other mental health conditions 5 suffered from severe/major depressive episode 4 Other recognised MH problems 7 without a currently classified diagnosis
3. How many patients with Major Depressive Disorder have been treated by your trust in the past 12 months? Unfortunately, Gloucestershire Health & Care NHS Ft cannot answer this question as the diagnosis recording for community patients is not robust enough.
