Thank you for your recent Freedom of Information request. Please find our response below.
1. Total number of recorded Influenza deaths
for the period 01/01/2018 – 31/12/2018

Please note, that in one of the four cases,
additional comorbidities were recorded in Part I of
the Medical Certificate of Cause of Death MCCD.,
as well as Influenza, namely Heart failure and
Ischaemic heart disease.
2. Total number of recorded Influenza deaths
for the period 01/01/2019 – 31/12/2019.

for the period 01/01/2020 – 31/12/2020.

4. Total number of deaths from Covid-19
where Covid-19 is the only cause of death
reported. for the period 01/01/2020 –
31/12/2020.

where Covid-19 is not the only cause of
death reported but where other comorbidities are mentioned. for the period
01/01/2020 – 31/12/2020.

recorded in Part II of the MCCD other significant
conditions., as well as in Part I MCCD immediate
and underlying cause of death..
