Thank you for your recent Freedom of Information request. Please find our response below.
1. Please provide the total number of whistleblowing concerns received between 01/03/2019 and 31/08/2019 by Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust was formed on the 1st October 2019.
2. Please provide the total number of whistleblowing concerns received between 01/03/2020 and 31/08/2020 by Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust The total number of concerns raised through the Freedom to Speak Up route for the dates requested was 33. Zero through HR.
3. Please provide the following information for each whistleblowing concern received by Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust 01/03/2020 and 31/08/2020: a. A brief summary of the whistleblowing concern. b. Whether any action was taken following the concern, and if so, a brief description of the action taken. c. If the person provided the information anonymously i.e. they did not provide you with their name and/or contact details. please indicate this. As a Trust any whistleblowing under PIDA would be managed by the Human Resources Department and no concerns were raised to them. Any concerns raised through the Freedom to Speak Up route are available on the public accessible website of the National Guardian’s Office https://www.nationalguardian.org.uk/speaking-up-data/
The Freedom to Speak Update reports are presented to the Trust Board every 6 months in line with NHSE/I requirements and can be accessed here https://www.ghc.nhs.uk/board-and-governors/
