We write to you on behalf of the Academic Collaborative for Equality & Inclusivity in Surgery ACEIS. UK. We are a newly formed independent think tank that is performing a deep dive into workforce inequalities faced by both gender and race in surgery.

Our first project is looking into the ENT profession across the four nations of the NHS. It will then be our intention to then look at other surgical disciplines over time.

Please could I have the total cost of managing hypertension for 2021 and 2022 for the year 2022 up to and including the 31st August 2022..
Please could the results be grouped:

2. By stroke related Hypertension per patient. Please split this by direct and indirect social. costs.
3. By Heart attack related hypertension per patient. Please split this by direct and indirect social. costs.
Managing hypertension would include: preventing, screening and treating costs associated with hypertension.
If providing costs ‘per patient’ is not possible, please feel free to use ‘costs per episode’ instead.

Hi, Please can you tell me how many cases of hospital-acquired Covid-19 the Trust has had since 1st March 2020 to the present day. Please break this down by probable and definite nosocomial infections if this data is available.
Please also give me the number of deaths from hospital acquired Covid-19 infections probable and definite cases.. If you are able, in each case, please can you tell me if you informed the patient’s relative that it was a hospital acquired infection.
