Freedom of Information request 452-2023

Response published: 3 January 2023

FOI Request

This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act for a record of all the people who have died in a particular location between January 2016 and December 2022. Specifically, everyone who has died at Wotton Lawn psychiatric hospital. Over this time frame the trust responsible for Wotton Lawn has changed and up until 2019 it was the 2gether NHS Foundation Trust. If the trust does not hold records for the time when it was part of 2gether, then please can you respond to my questions below based on a time frame from Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust’s creation in October 2019 to December 2022. I am trying to find out: • How many deaths occurred at Wotton Lawn psychiatric hospital between January 2016 and December 2022. • The number of deaths at Wotton Lawn between January 2016 and December 2022 that are suspected to be suicides. • The number of deaths occurred in the community between January 2016 and December 2022 among absconders/missing persons from Wotton Lawn psychiatric hospital. • The number of deaths among absconders/missing persons from Wotton Lawn psychiatric hospital between January 2016 and December 2022 that are suspected to be suicides.
