Freedom of Information Request – Ref: FOI 212-2122
Thank you for your recent Freedom of Information request. Please find our response below.
1. I am currently conducting a rapid review of existing training resources in relation to the routine enquiry into trauma that is currently available for staff within Mental Health Trusts. If your Trust provides training of this nature then please can you kindly share the training resources with me? This is for research purposes with the aim to improve patient experience within trauma informed care. We do not have any specific training on routine enquiry into trauma so we are unable to send you any resources, although the Trust is looking at developing some bespoke training. Support for staff who have been through traumatic situations is currently provided via supervision, post incident de-briefs and/or support from our occupational health services.
Should you have any queries in relation to our response in this letter, please do not hesitate to contact me. If you are unhappy with the response you have received in relation to your request and wish to ask us to review our response, you should write to:-
