Our response:

Unfortunately, we are unable to provide the information requested. Where BMI can be extracted from the clinical system, there are no patients with a BMI recorded on their discharge date. This may be because BMI is recorded at their last appointment, which may not be the same as their discharge date. More patients may have had their BMI measured but it was not recorded in a way that can be easily extracted from the clinical system.

We have looked at the recording of BMI between treatment and discharge. Very few patients who have gone on to be discharged have a BMI recorded in a way that we can extract it from the system. We do not believe this data will be representative and we would not be able to share the figures due to the small numbers involved.
