FOI Request

Letter to Ingrid Barker

FOI Response

I am writing further to your letter addressed to Ingrid Barker, Chair of Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust dated 25 April 2021 and received by us on 6 May 2021.

Your request under the Freedom of Information related to Trust Board Member, Mr Graham Russell and his role as Chair of the Corinium Education Trust. I can confirm that Mr Russell has declared this appointment and this information in the public domain via the Trust’s website.

Having reviewed your request, I consider that this matter is exempt from disclosure under section 402. of the FOI Act. This is on the grounds that it amounts to personal data and the first condition under section 403.a.i. is satisfied, namely, that disclosure would amount to a breach of the first data protection principle personal data should be processed fairly and lawfully. as the individuals concerned would have a reasonable expectation that their information would not be disclosed into the public domain. Section 40 is an absolute exemption and consideration of the public interest test in disclosure is not required.

Any questions that you have regarding the investigation to which you refer should be directed to the Corinium Education Trust.
