Please could I request the following information under the Freedom of Information Act on the treatment of patients with Long Covid at your NHS Trust. 1. The number of patients who have been referred for assessment at your trust's Long Covid clinic, in the period between December 2020 and 31 March 2021. If possible, please could I have this data broken down by day. 2. Of these, the number of patients who were assessed and then the number that were offered treatment over the same period. If possible, please could I have this information broken down by the type of treatment offered, e.g. physiotherapy, rehabilitation services, or other specialist treatment. 3. The average waiting time in days between a patient being referred for assessment at the Long Covid clinic and receiving treatment. 4. The five longest waiting times for patients between being referred for assessment at the Long Covid clinic and receiving treatment. Thank you for your recent Freedom of Information request.
I am writing further to your request for information dated 06/04/2021 to advise you that the information
you requested is being withheld under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.
You requested:
. The number of patients who have been referred for assessment at your trust’s Long Covid clinic,
in the period between December 2020 and 31 March 2021. If possible, please could I have this
data broken down by day?
. Of these, the number of patients who were assessed and then the number that were offered
treatment over the same period. If possible, please could I have this information broken down
by the type of treatment offered, e.g. physiotherapy, rehabilitation services, or other specialist
treatment?

NHS England and NHS Improvement are currently working with regions and systems to develop and
refine processes to collect activity and demographic data for the Post Covid syndrome Assessment
clinics. From summer 2021 NHS Long Covid activity data on referral, number of assessments, waiting
times and the onward patient journey will be published monthly.
