1. What was your overall annual expenditure
on nursing staff salaries for the most recent
financial year available?
£58.1M for 2020/21
2. For the same year, what was your overall
expenditure on external agencies providing
nurses to work within the Trust?
£2.4M for 2020/21
3. For the same year can you tell me how
many shifts were covered by Agency
nurses and what proportion of overall shifts
that is?
RN shifts covered in this year was about 1785
This would account for approximately 30% to 35%
coverage of Nurse shifts requested by our
Hospitals. The rest was covered by our Bank Staff.
